  • May 6-10 is our WAVA Teacher Appreciation Week! We have a Spirit Week all week for students and staff and we encourage students and families to email your teachers and post photos and messages of thanks to our WAVA padlet. Spirit Week: Monday-Weird Hat, Tuesday Funny Shirt, Wednesday, PJ Day, Thursday Fancy Day, Friday WAVA Spirit Day! 

  • Our Class of 2024 is preparing for Graduation!!  Grad planning updates can be found at: https://www.wavabulletinboard.com/graduation-planning

  • WAVA Zone is open for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 M-F, 12-4pm and the National Zone is open to HS students M-F 12-4pm

  • More outings will be added to the schedule as we wrap up the school year, check outing out on the WAVA Bulletin Board

  • K12 Cook-Off is open to all 6–12 graders who have a passion for cooking and want to try their chance for a $1,000 prize!

  • K12 My Senior Reel is open to any seniors at a K12-powered school, giving them a chance to submit a video about their story with online school, and be one of 5 winners to receive a $1,000 scholarship. 

  • Public Voting for the AI Category of the K12 Art Competition launches on May 1 and goes through May 15

  • Follow our FB and Instagram pages for Washington Virtual Academies and look for announcements this month to celebrate our WAVA Esports teams and our Robotics Teams placing in finals and Spring Season Challenges!

Welcome to WAVA
Whether you are a new student to WAVA or have been with us since Kindergarten, we look forward to working with you and your student throughout the year.  A few helpful tips to make the year a success:
